Rioja, white wine, 0,75l An exceptional white wine from the Rioja region, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully stored in small boxes for transport to prevent them from getting wrinkled. Due to the 3 months it spends in oak barrels, the wine has elegant aromas and is very full and structured on the palate.

This excellent golden-yellow wine comes from the Luis Cañas cellars in the Rioja Alavesa region, which forms a transition between Atlantic and Mediterranean climates. The Cantabrian mountains form a defensive shield against northerly winds and storms, creating a dry climate with wide fluctuations in temperature, which is the ideal climate for growing and maturing wine. This unique wine is made from two varieties, Viura and Malvasía, and comes from vineyards that are over 50 years old.

Harvesting is done by hand, as is the subsequent selection of the best berries. The wine is fermented for 17 days at a temperature of 19 °C, then transferred to barriques for a second fermentation, where it is left for three months with lees.

This produces a strong-bodied wine with a fruity-floral aroma. On the palate, this wine is dry with balanced acidity that gives the wine freshness. 

Variety: 90% Viura, 10% Malvasía 

Serve at a temperature of approx. 6 °C.

It is suitable for seafood dishes, grilled white fish or stews. It is also excellent with rice, soft cheese, mushrooms and fresh fruit.
