Mestres, Elena, Brut Nature, D.O. Cava, rosé sparkling wine, 0,75l Cava Mestres Elena, Brut Nature is the only pink that matures in baric barrels. That just makes it incomparable. It is a complex and intense sparkling wine, very pleasant to drink, full of ripe fruits such as strawberries, currants, flowers of violets and roasted aromas, bakery and fresh brioche.

Mestres Elena is a mixture of Trepat varieties (45%) Grenache (30%) Monastrell (25%) The basic wine is fermented and aged for 4 months in chestnut barriques isur lie, i.e. with sludge. The second fermentation in the bottle is completed in contact with the first 100% natural cork, in a horizontal position and maturing for at least 36 months in a traditional bottle on its own yeast in CAVA MESTRES. After degorgement (a manual process to remove dead yeast cells), the 2nd cork is placed and this fantastic dry pink Cava still matures in the bottle.
The MESTRES family in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia dates from 1312 as vineyard owners and also as grain and wine merchants. The family has been linked to the world of wine for 29 generations. At that time, 1312 was considered the year of the MESTRES vineyards.
Rosé cava has a bright pink salmon colour in the glass with very delicate and elegant bubbles (beaming).
In fragrance intense and delicate aroma of red fruit (strawberries) with a floral tinge and a slightly spicy background.
In the mouth it is an elegant and creamy cava, with very well integrated carbonization and a very elegant and long finish.
Wine has less than 3 grams of residual sugar and is therefore an absolute Brut Nature.

The advice of CAVAS MESTRES is not to drink wine too cold. The recommended temperature is between 8-15 degrees, with slightly higher temperatures the tastes come into their own even better.
It can accompany original main dishes, like a patty of Galician tuna and seafood or grilled shrimp.
