Vinícola Real Urbión Cuvée from the D.O.Ca. Rioja region is an elegant red wine with an emphasis on fruitiness and harmony.
The aromatics feature notes of red and dark fruit, such as cherries and plums, complemented by subtle spicy and slightly woody nuances. On the palate it is medium-bodied, well balanced, with fine tannins and pleasant freshness that supports its drinkability.
The aftertaste is smooth, fruity and medium-long, which makes this wine suitable both with food and for enjoying on its own.
Hacienda Urbión is a young winery, founded only in 2008, which focuses primarily on newcomers to the world of wine. It produces light, easy-drinking, fruity wines with a light hint of oak.

Vineyards:
The grapes come from the D.O.Ca. Rioja region in Spain, where the Hacienda Urbión project works with selected vineyards across the region. The vineyards lie in a continental climate with large temperature differences between day and night, which supports grape ripening and aromatic concentration. The soils in this area are typically clay-limestone to sandy, contributing to a balance between fruitiness, freshness and structure in the wine.
Ageing:
The grapes are harvested in October into small crates to ensure the best possible conditions during transport. The wine ages for 10 months in barrels of American and French oak and then 6 months sealed in the bottle.
Taste and aroma:
The nose features notes of red and dark fruit, such as cherries, plums and blackberries, complemented by subtle spicy and slightly woody nuances. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, harmonious and fruity, with fine tannins and pleasantly balanced acidity. The aftertaste is smooth, medium-long and elegantly fruity.
Tasting notes:
The recommended serving temperature is 14–16 °C. The wine goes wonderfully with roast and grilled meat, pasta with bolder sauces or mature cheeses. Thanks to its balance, it is suitable both for everyday drinking and for slightly more festive occasions.
