How sangría is made

Traditional sangría is made from red wine, to which chopped fruit (most often orange, lemon and apple), sugar or a sweetener and sometimes a little brandy or orange liqueur are added. It is left to macerate for a while in the cold so that the flavours combine, and it is served with ice. The ready-made sangrías in the range already have the recipe prepared, so all you need to do is chill them and pour.

Storage and serving

Store unopened packs in a cool, dark place. Once opened, sangría belongs in the fridge and should be consumed within a few days. It is served chilled, ideally with ice cubes and a slice of fresh fruit.
