Label and design: The bottle bears the typical artistic Enate label, which reflects the link between wine and contemporary art, and the winery's traditional values and modern design.
Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, a combination that unites the structure and complexity of Cabernet with the velvety fruitiness and softness of Merlot.
Ageing and production: After destemming the grapes, a cold maceration takes place, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature, so as to preserve the pure fruity aroma and elegant structure. The wine then ages for 6 months in barrique barrels and, before release, rests for 1 year in bottle, which contributes to the harmonious integration of tannins and complexity of flavours.
Vineyard: The grapes come from carefully maintained vineyards in the Enate valley, where the soils combine clay and limestone composition, giving the wine a mineral character and pronounced purity of aromas. The terroir, together with the altitude of the vineyards, gives the wine freshness, balance and potential for further ageing.
Tasting notes: The colour is intense ruby, the nose brings complex aromas of forest fruit, blackberries, blackcurrant, complemented by subtle notes of violets, vanilla and forest shrubs. On the palate the wine is soft, round, with a smooth velvety tannin and balanced acidity, which gives it freshness and allows the wine to age for up to 5 years.
Food pairing: It pairs beautifully with smoked, roasted or grilled meat, beef steaks, poultry, but thanks to its fine structure and fruity profile it also suits cheeses, pasta with sauces and fish in sauces. It is recommended to serve the wine at 14–16 °C, which will emphasise its fresh fruity notes and velvety texture.
