Vinícola Real Urbión Cuvée Blanco is a fresh and elegant white wine that combines the aromatic varieties Viura, Verdejo and Garnacha.
It is made from carefully selected grapes from various sites across Rioja, where the vineyards benefit from a continental climate with marked temperature differences between day and night, and mostly clay-limestone to sandy-loam soils, which support a balance between freshness and structure.
The aroma and flavour show tones of apple, peach and lychee, complemented by light herbal nuances, making the wine fresh, harmonious and ideal with fish, seafood or light Mediterranean cuisine.

Vineyard:
The grapes come from vineyards in the D.O.Ca. Rioja area, where the Hacienda Urbión project works with various sites across the region. The vineyards lie in a continental climate with large temperature differences between day and night, which supports the aromatics and freshness of the white varieties. The soils are highly varied; in this area they are most often clay-limestone and sandy-loam soils, which help maintain a balance between the wine's structure and freshness.
Ageing:
Part of the wine ferments and ages briefly (about 3 months) in stainless steel tanks, part in new American oak barrels. Once ageing is complete, the two components are blended, creating a balanced style that combines fruit purity with a gentle touch of oak.
Taste and aroma:
The nose shows intense fruit tones (apple, peach, lychee) complemented by subtle herbal nuances such as thyme and mint. On the palate the wine is fresh, well balanced, with a fruity profile and a light creaminess. The finish is clean, medium-length and elegantly fresh.
Tasting notes:
The recommended serving temperature is 7–10 °C. The wine pairs beautifully with Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, especially fish, seafood, sushi or light white meat dishes. Thanks to its freshness it also works well as an aperitif.
