Dominio de Atauta, Viridiana, D.O. Ribera del Duero, red wine, 0.75l

This quality cherry-coloured red wine with violet hues is produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery, located in D.O. Ribera del Duero. The vineyards lie at an altitude of between 950 and 1000 m above sea level and are between 20 and 30 years old. Thanks to the specific climate, the vines are exposed to long, cold winters and rather short summers. The winery's long-standing tradition is reflected in the hand-harvesting of the grapes and their further processing. The first fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of between 26 and 28 °C in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine ages for three months in French oak barrels. Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo. Aroma: Intense aroma of ripe forest fruit with a hint of wild herbs. A young wine, lively and intense on the palate. Fresh and long finish. Serve at 14 °C.
