This quality cherry-coloured red wine is produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery, located in D.O. Ribera del Duero. Unlike other wines from this region, it is grown on a small plot in the Atauta valley, whose main feature is sandy soil with pebbles. This soil is poor in nutrients while also accumulating a lot of heat, which allows the wine to age longer and develop a complexity of flavours and aromas. The winery's long-standing tradition is reflected in the hand-harvesting of the grapes and their further processing. After maceration and fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Grape variety: 100% Tinto Fino. Ageing: 18 months in French oak barrels.
