Dominio de Atauta, La Mala 2014, D.O. Ribera del Duero, red wine, 0.75l

This exceptional red wine of cherry colour is one of three wines from the Dominio de Atauta winery, grown on a small terrace above a valley measuring 0.8 hectares, surrounded by oaks and walnut trees. Due to the specific conditions, its production is very low - reaching only about 500 bottles a year. Indeed, because of the small production, the soil used to be considered poor in the past, which is also how it got its name. The wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels.  Grape variety: 100% Tinto Fino.
