A brilliant red wine from the Ribera del Duero wine region. The Villacreces winery was founded in 1980 and produces wines in small numbers of bottles in order to achieve their highest quality. The harvest takes place by hand in the second and third weeks of October, and the grapes undergo double selection. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks, ageing afterwards in French oak barrels for 12 months.
It is a cherry-coloured wine, very smooth and rich on the palate. You will taste ripe berries, caramel and roasted coffee. A wine with potential until 2020.
Grape variety: Tinto fino (Tempranillo) 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Serve at a temperature of 17 °C. Suitable for grilled red meats, roasts and stewed meat.
