This quality cherry-coloured red wine is produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery, located in D.O. Ribera del Duero. The Atauta valley, which lies on the eastern edge of the Ribera del Duero region, is unique thanks to its altitude of between 950 and 1000 m above sea level, which causes the wine to age more slowly. The winery's long-standing tradition is reflected in the hand-harvesting of the grapes and their further processing. After maceration and fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Grape variety: 100% Tinto Fino Aroma: An intense wine with flavours of red and black forest fruit combined with a light hint of spice and coffee. We recommend serving at a temperature of 16 °C and pairing with white and red meats, especially roast lamb and kid, meat stewed with mushrooms, rice, mild and semi-mature cheeses, charcuterie, mushrooms and truffles.
