Telmo Rodríguez Pegaso Zeta is a quality red wine made from the Garnacha variety, coming from the organic vineyards of Sierra de Gredos in the Castilla y León region. Chalky-granite soils give the wine its typical depth and fruity character.
Pegaso Zeta is a pleasant, elegant wine with a fresh fruity aroma and a hint of orange peel and white flowers. On the palate it pleasantly satisfies with a silky-smooth, very lively and long taste.

Telmo Rodríquez is a Spanish winery founded in 1994. Around the world it has a reputation as a pioneer supporting Spanish winemaking, a travelling oenologist and a "driving wine-maker". It earned this reputation above all by travelling to individual regions to make wines from a single harvest using only the region's native varieties. It also devotes special care to restoring forgotten vineyards. The Telmo Rodríquez brand reflects an immense love of wine and fine winemaking craft.
Telmo Rodríguez Pegaso Zeta is a fresh, approachable and terroir-driven red wine from the Sierra de Gredos region (the village of Cebreros, province of Ávila) in Spain. It belongs to the entry-level wines of the Pegaso range, which Telmo Rodríguez devotes to celebrating authentic Garnacha grown on high-altitude vineyards of old bush vines. Pegaso Zeta is designed as a wine with a delicate texture and fruity character, reflecting the soil - a combination of sandstone slate with granite granulations - and the altitude of the vineyards, which makes it a very approachable yet terroir-legible wine. This style makes Zeta an ideal choice for those looking for a drinkable and expressive red wine with the character of the Gredos region.
Grape variety: 100% Garnacha (Grenache) from old bush vines, farmed traditionally and organically, with hand harvesting that ensures a selection of high-quality, healthy grapes.
Vineyard: The grapes come from several small vineyards in Cebreros, such as El Robledillo, El Mojón and Presidente, on soils where sandstone slate and granite mix, which supports the development of minerality, fresh acidity and fruit fullness. The altitude and excellent soil drainage help Garnacha preserve purity of aroma and structure.
Production and ageing: After hand harvesting, the wine ferments with native yeasts, which underlines its authenticity and terroir character. This is followed by 6 months of ageing in 500 l French oak barrels of various origins and ages, and a further 6 months in stainless steel tanks, which allows the fresh fruity tones to be preserved while giving the wine complexity and depth without heavy woodiness.
Taste and aroma: In the glass, Pegaso Zeta shows clean, intense red berry fruit, complemented by herbal and gently spicy nuances and a fresh mineral streak typical of the Sierra de Gredos terroir. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, with good acidity and fine tannins, balanced and approachable, yet offering enough depth and concentration for pleasure and for pairing with food. The aroma often contains notes of red berries, floral accents and herbs, giving the wine character.
Food pairing: The recommended serving temperature is 16–18 °C. Pegaso Zeta pairs excellently with grilled and roasted meat, red and white meat dishes, rice and Mediterranean dishes, but also with tapas and cheeses, where its fresh acidity and fruitiness beautifully complement a range of flavours.
