Remelluri, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, D.O. Rioja, red wine, 0.75l

Remelluri San Vicente de la Sonsierra red wine, from the Rioja region, is made from a blend of the red varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano. The wine has a medium-intensity garnet-red colour. On the nose you can find fruit such as blueberries, blackberries and hints of spice. On the palate the wine is fresh and intense. Thanks to barrel ageing, the flavour shows a toasty note accompanied by ripe fruit. A long and well-balanced finish. It pairs well with pasta with meat, red meat, roasts, grilled meat and vegetables. We recommend serving at a temperature of 17°C. The harvest is done by hand, the grapes are collected in 20 kg boxes and then immediately transported to the winery. Fermentation takes place using the winery's own natural yeasts. The wine then ages for 12 months in 225 l French oak barrique barrels. In 2009, Remelluri decided to separate their grapes from those of other growers and produce two new wines, named Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Labastida and Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente. These wines have their own distinct personality, which is unique and expresses the excellent work of the families who, across generations, have loved and cared for their vineyards. Lindes de Remelluri best expresses the character of the villages of Labastida and San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
