This wine comes from carefully selected vineyards around Haro and on the slopes of Ollauri.
It combines the elegance of traditional white varieties with the complexity of long ageing in oak barrels and concrete vessels. The result is a wine with a pronounced structure, mineral depth and long ageing potential.
The wine has a rich, structured character with gentle creaminess and mineral freshness. The palate shows notes of ripe white fruit, citrus, dried flowers and light toasty notes from the oak barrel. An elegant acidity and a long, harmonious finish underline its ageing potential.
This wine comes from carefully selected vineyards around Haro and on the slopes of Ollauri. The result is a wine with a pronounced structure, mineral depth and long ageing potential.
Grape variety: 25% Tempranillo Blanco, 65% Viura, 5% Malvasía, with the remainder made up of Garnacha Blanca and Calagraño.
Ageing: The wine fermented and aged on fine lees, with approximately 80% of the volume kept in new French oak barrels and the remaining 20% in "concrete egg" vessels.
Vineyard: The grapes come from vineyards around Haro and from selected plots on the slopes of Ollauri. The soils are clay-limestone with a high limestone content, which gives the wine mineral structure and elegance. Hand-harvesting was carried out into small 200kg crates with careful grape selection at the winery.
Tasting notes: The wine has a rich, structured character with gentle creaminess and mineral freshness. The palate shows notes of ripe white fruit, citrus, dried flowers and light toasty notes from the oak barrel. An elegant acidity and a long, harmonious finish underline its ageing potential.
