This exclusive white wine from Rioja stands out with a pale golden colour and a fresh aromatic profile full of white flowers, citrus fruits and delicate notes of stone fruit. On the tongue it is harmonious and elegant, with creamy texture, balanced acidity and a long mineral aftertaste that underlines the unique character of this variety.
Grape variety: This wine is made from 100% Tempranillo Blanco, a rare white mutation of the famous Spanish variety. It brings a complex aroma, fresh acidity and mineral character that perfectly reflects the terroir of Rioja Alavesa.
Ageing: The wine underwent 11 months of ageing on fine lees combining 2,500-litre barrels of Austrian, German and French oak, together with 500-litre barrels of French oak with a small proportion of acacia wood. This careful ageing process gives the wine a creamy texture, depth and delicate notes of vanilla and spice, while retaining its natural freshness.
Vineyard: The grapes come from a unique vineyard in Laguardia, which was planted in 2010 on clay soil with a gentle 5.2% slope. It lies at an altitude of 600 metres at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria mountains, where cool evenings and warm days help maintain the optimal balance between sugars and acids. The vines are trained using a double cordon system with support, which contributes to their perfect adaptation to the terroir.
