Grape variety: 100% Verdejo
Vineyard: An exceptional white wine, made from more than 100-year-old bush vines of the Verdejo variety on the vineyard of the same name, "Las Comas." This wine is a pure expression of terroir. Stony, limestone soil at an altitude of 730 m, with a very limited yield (only around 2,100 bottles per year), ensures a unique character and high quality.
Ageing takes place over 12 months in oak foudres on lees (sur lies), which provides structure and depth.
Taste and aroma: Rich notes of ripe pears, peaches, white flowers, chamomile, honey and crisp buttery croissant. On the nose there are delicate nuts, vanilla, cardamom and even hints of truffle. A velvety, creamy, well-structured palate with integrated acidity, notes of citrus complemented by a drier, mineral saltiness in the finish.
Food pairing: This wine is an ideal choice for lovers of complex white wines with ageing potential. It pairs wonderfully with delicate fish, seafood and creamy cheeses.
Alcohol content: 13.5%
