José Pariente Victoria Rosado was created as a personal tribute to the winery's founder, Victoria Pariente, mother of the current winemaker Martina Pariente.
It is made from carefully selected grapes of three varieties: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Viognier, from historic, low-yield vineyards.
The Viognier variety appears only rarely in Spanish rosé wines. Its presence gives the cuvée finesse, floral aroma and elegance, setting Victoria Rosado apart from ordinary rosé wines based solely on red varieties. This unusual approach makes the wine an original tasting experience.
Grape variety: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Viognier
Vineyard: The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards in the villages of Pedrosa del Rey, Mucientes and La Seca. The soils of these areas are varied, ranging from sandy and clay sediments to limestone and sandy soils, which contributes to the diversity of the wine's aromatic profiles. This terroir, combined with a careful approach in the vineyard and the cellar, gives rise to an elegant, complex rosé wine
Harvest and ageing: The grapes are hand-picked in the cool morning hours to preserve their freshness and aroma. The whole grapes are gently pressed, without extended maceration on the skins, giving the wine its delicate, pale salmon colour. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperature to preserve purity and fruitiness. The wine then ages for four months on fine lees, giving it a creamier texture, greater depth and elegance.
Taste and aroma: The wine has a pale salmon-pink colour and intense fruity aromas of strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate and blackberries, complemented by delicate floral notes of rose petals and jasmine. The flavour is fresh, balanced and elegant, with a pleasant acidity and a long fruity finish.
Food pairing: We recommend serving it chilled. It is ideal with a wide range of dishes, including fresh salads, seafood, white fish, pasta, risottos and delicate cheeses. It is also great as an aperitif or with light tapas.
