Pago Negralada is a reflection of the finest Spanish Tempranillo grapes. The vines were planted on soils with deep gravel and a surface layer of sand, which gives the wine a firm, tannic character. Ageing: 16 months in French oak barrels

Taste and aroma: The colour intensity is typical for the vintage. It has a rounded bouquet of red and black fruit such as raspberries, redcurrants and blackberries, with spicy notes of clove, laurel and black tea. On the palate it is very fresh and elegant, with a bold structure, smooth tannins accompanied by a fine acidity and a long finish. An outstanding red wine of limited production and exceptional quality.

Food pairing: This red wine is best enjoyed at a moderate temperature of 16-18 °C. It pairs wonderfully with veal escalope with beans and tomatoes, ossobuco with Milanese-style risotto, spicy lamb curry or braised vegetables with pesto.
