An excellent red wine from the Mauro winery, coming from the Ribera del Duero region. The wine is made from the Tempranillo variety and ages for 16 months in French oak barrels. It is a very aromatic, fresh wine, best enjoyed over dinner with friends. Floral and fruity aroma, smooth and penetrating fruity taste, round and broad on the palate with delicate tannins. It has a dynamic finish.

The wine is fermented and macerated for 12 days using indigenous yeasts at a maximum temperature of 28 °C. It then ages for 16 months in French oak barrels. The wine pairs wonderfully with red meat, roasts and stews. The world-renowned wine expert Robert Parker rated it 93 points.
The Mauro winery was founded in 1978 and is run and owned by the world-famous winemaker Mariano García. The winery is located south of Valladolid, in the valley of the Duero river. The vineyards thus lie on rich limestone soil, and most of them are between 25 and 30 years old. They mainly grow the Tempranillo and Syrah varieties, and in small quantities also Grenache.
