Ageing: at least 16 months in French oak barrels

Taste and aroma: An intense colour with a cohesive, intense aroma of red fruit and spicy notes. On the palate it is meaty, elegant, with a slightly spicy palate and balsamic notes. A wine with a long finish of candied figs and quince. An outstanding red wine of limited production and exceptional quality.

Food pairing: This red wine is best enjoyed at a mild temperature of 16-18 °C. It goes wonderfully with veal escalope with beans and tomatoes, ossobuco with Milanese-style risotto, spicy lamb curry or stewed vegetables with pesto.
