Vinicola Real Ondipuerko Tinto from the D.O. Rioja region is a pleasant red wine with a fruity, fresh character. The aroma is dominated by notes of red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate the wine is light to medium-bodied, well balanced, with soft tannins and a pleasantly fresh finish, making it a great match for everyday drinking as well as lighter dishes.
A natural wine from an organic winery, with minimal intervention in the vineyards, without pesticides or chemical treatments. The grapes are hand-harvested and transported in 15 kg crates. The wine is traditionally made in large wooden vats from whole destemmed grapes, with the exception of the Garnacha variety, whose grapes are processed whole, including the stems. The entire ageing process takes place without the addition of any preservatives or fining agents. There is no filtration or addition of clay or yeast. The result is a natural wine with the possible presence of sediment.
Grape variety: 60% Tempranillo, 20% Graciano, 5% Garnacha, 15% Viura
Taste and aroma: A cherry-coloured wine with delicate violet hues at the rim. It captivates with its pronounced aromatic scent of spice. It boasts a flavour of red and black fruit, accentuated by notes of vanilla and clove, all harmoniously supported by very fine tannins.
Food pairing: Many different dishes go well with Ondipuerko red wine, such as pork, poultry, charcuterie, pasta, pizza, cheeses, grilled vegetable dishes and many more.
