Suertes del Marqués, Trenzado, D.O. Orotava, white wine, 0.75l
The wine Trenzado from Suertes del Marqués is a unique white wine from the volcanic vineyards of Valle de La Orotava on Tenerife, made from the varieties Listán Blanco, Pedro Ximénez and Vidueño.
It offers a fresh, elegant profile with a delicate mineral structure, spicy notes and fresh fruit aromatics. Thanks to its light body and balanced acidity, Trenzado is ideal for drinking straight away, while also representing the traditional winemaking techniques of Suertes del Marqués, which combine hand work, ungrafted vineyards and the unique Cordon Trenzado system.

Grape variety:
Trenzado is a blend of autochthonous Canary varieties: Listán Blanco (90%), also known as Palomino, Pedro Ximénez (6%) and Vidueño (4%). This blend provides a harmonious combination of freshness, spicy notes and delicate minerality.
Vineyard:
The grapes come from vineyards in the Valle de La Orotava area on Tenerife, at an altitude of 300–750m above sea level. The soil is volcanic and rich in minerals. The vines are ungrafted and grown using the traditional Cordon Multiple Trenzado method, in which the vine branches are braided to maximise grape quality and preserve the character of the varieties.
Production and ageing:
The grapes ferment spontaneously using native yeasts, so the wine gains an authentic expression of terroir. Fermentation takes place in cement or concrete vats and the wine then ages in small French oak barrels, preserving its fresh fruity and mineral notes. The wine is bottled without filtration, to preserve all its aromatic nuances.
Taste and aroma:
An elegant and fresh white wine with a delicate mineral structure. The nose is complex, combining spicy accents with subtle notes of white fruit and citrus, with a light floral touch in the background. On the palate there is a clean and lively acidity, a balanced fruity aroma and a delicate mineral finish that underlines the character of the volcanic soil. Thanks to its light body and freshness, Trenzado is very approachable, yet sophisticated.
Food pairing:
Thanks to its freshness and light structure, the wine goes wonderfully with light fish dishes, seafood, salads, delicate cheeses and delicate tapas. The recommended serving temperature is 7°C, so that the aromatics and delicate mineral trace can fully develop.
