Pells is 100% Macabeu from a single, north-east-facing vineyard called "Vinya de la Caseta", planted in 1969. The grapes ferment spontaneously in a used 225-litre French oak barrel and a 600-litre clay amphora, resting on the skins for approximately 90 days. After draining, the wine ages for 6 months without stirring.
Anima Mundi Pells is an immensely aromatic, fresh wine with good body, which underlines the great potential of the Penedès wine region.
We recommend serving this wine at 11°C. It goes wonderfully with soft cheeses, seafood, but also with almost any kind of meat or vegetables.
