Moraza, Garnacha, D.O. Rioja, red wine, 0.75l

Moraza Garnacha red, dry wine, from the D.O. Rioja region, is made from the Garnacha variety. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 600 metres. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks, which preserves its freshness and fruitiness and makes it very easy to drink.  The wine is fresh, clean and very lively. Aroma of red fruit - strawberries, raspberries, sour cherries and pomegranate, and spice - mainly cinnamon, nutmeg and red pepper. A very juicy taste, lightly mineral, with smooth tannins and balanced acidity.  We recommend serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C. Decanting time approximately 1 hour. Bodegas Moraza - a smaller family winery from Spain's best-known region, Rioja, for which making a heavily barrel-aged wine is not the priority; instead it has chosen a more alternative path. They look for a way to authentically reflect the local terroir and the character of the typical varieties in their wines. Their wine differs from "commercial" wineries mainly in spontaneous fermentation and ageing in concrete tanks instead of classic oak barrels. The wines retain their freshness and are more drinkable and fruity.
