Mascaro Vermuth, Siset blanco 0.75l
Mascaró Siset Blanco is a light and refreshing white vermouth with an elegant aroma of citrus fruit, flowers and delicate herbs. The flavour is pleasantly balanced. It starts gently sweet, followed by fresh notes of lime, white flowers and a gently bittersweet finish. It works wonderfully as an aperitif over ice with lemon zest or as the base for summer cocktails.

It is made from Parellada white wine from the Mas Miquel estate's own vineyards in the Penedès region.
Wine distillate and ginebra (the Spanish term for gin, i.e. a distillate flavoured predominantly with juniper) are added to the base, both from Mascaró's own production. Mascaró distils its own ginebra, which is unusual, since most producers use ready-made gin. This allows them to better control the resulting profile of the vermouth and ensure its authenticity and quality.
The blend is then flavoured with more than 30 carefully selected herbs, citrus peels, flowers and spices, which are macerated for several weeks to create a complex, balanced flavour profile. After maceration, the vermouth is stabilised, filtered and bottled without added colourings.
Taste and aroma: In appearance it has a light golden colour. The aroma is intense, with dominant citrus and floral notes, complemented by hints of fresh grass and spice. The flavour is delicate, light and refreshing, with a pleasant, gently bittersweet finish.
Tasting notes: This vermouth is ideal chilled as an aperitif, served on its own over ice with a slice of lemon or orange. It also works wonderfully in cocktails and pairs with tapas, olives, light starters or Asian cuisine.
