Grape variety: 90% Parellada, 10% Xarel·lo
Vineyard: The grapes come from the Mas Miquel estate in the village of Aiguamúrcia. This estate has been owned by the Mascaró family since 1946 and covers more than 170 hectares, part of which is planted with vines. Thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate and higher altitude, the grapes here develop a natural freshness and aromatic character. The winery places great emphasis on gentle cultivation and hand-picking of the grapes, which guarantees a high-quality raw material for producing the cava.
Ageing: Aged for at least 24 months on the lees, which gives it finesse and structure. It is bottled as Brut Nature, meaning with no added sugar, underlining its purity and authenticity.
Taste and aroma: The wine has a light yellow colour with greenish highlights and delicate effervescence. The aromatic profile is dominated by notes of white flowers, citrus and fresh pastry. On the palate it is dry, fresh, with well-balanced acidity and an elegant, mineral finish.
Tasting notes: Thanks to its clean flavour and freshness, Pure Cava is a great choice as an aperitif. It also goes excellently with light dishes, such as sushi, seafood, baked fish or soft cheeses. It is a wine that can enhance food without overpowering its flavour.
