Production: Yzaguirre Rojo Vermouth is made using a traditional method with an emphasis on quality and care. Its base is white wine, predominantly from the Macabeo variety, which is blended with a secret mixture of more than 80 kinds of herbs, spices, flowers and plants. This mixture is cooked in a double boiler for 14 hours, extracting the aromatic substances. This is followed by a two-month cold maceration with daily stirring, allowing the full release of the essences. White sugar, molasses alcohol and caramel are then added, giving the drink its characteristic red colour. Finally, the vermouth is gently filtered, clarified and bottled in glass bottles.
Celler Sort del Castell, Yzaguirre Rojo, vermouth, 1l
Yzaguirre Rojo Vermouth is a traditional Spanish red vermouth made by the renowned winery Bodegas Yzaguirre. This vermouth is characterised by a deep mahogany colour and a rich, aromatic flavour that results from the careful maceration of more than 80 herbs and spices.

This vermouth comes from the workshop of the Celler Sort del Castell winery and boasts a mahogany colour with orange-tinged highlights and an intense aroma of herbs and spices, rounded off by balsamic tones.
Taste and aroma: It has a rich and balanced flavour with a subtle sweetness, complemented by a light bitterness and a complex herbal aroma. Tones of cinnamon, wormwood, orange peel and clove stand out, complemented by a woody hint. The taste is rounded, with a long and gently spiced finish.
Tasting notes: Thanks to its complexity and balance, it is ideal as an aperitif or part of cocktails. It is recommended to serve it well chilled with a slice of orange, olives or mint.
