Yzaguirre Rosé Vermouth is a fresh and sophisticated aperitif characterised by its delicate sweetness and fruity character. It has a ruby-pink colour with violet glints and aromas of caramel, herbs and mint, complemented by citrus and spicy notes.
Production: The base is a quality white wine, which is blended with a secret mixture of herbs, spices and flowers. This blend is cold-macerated to extract the aromatic compounds while preserving the fresh, fruity taste typical of rosé vermouth. After maceration, alcohol, sugar and a delicate colouring agent are added, giving the vermouth its characteristic ruby-pink colour with violet glints. Finally, the vermouth is filtered and bottled.
Taste and aroma: Yzaguirre Rosé vermouth has a fresh, fruity aroma with notes of red fruit such as strawberries and raspberries, complemented by delicate floral and herbal nuances, mint, caramel and citrus peel. On the palate it is light, gently sweet with a pleasant fruity freshness, where notes of raspberry and cherry intertwine with a subtle herbal bitterness and mild acidity, creating a smooth and refreshing finish.
Tasting notes: This vermouth is ideal as an aperitif or a cocktail ingredient. It is recommended to serve it well chilled in a wide glass with ice and a slice of orange or lemon, which brings out its aromatic notes. It also works wonderfully as the base for sophisticated cocktails, such as a Negroni Rosé. It pairs excellently with seafood, tapas, fresh cheeses or vegetable dishes.
