Raventós i Blanc, Can Sumoi La Rosa, D.O.Penedes, rosé wine, 0.75l

La Rosa is a new vintage produced by winemaker and enologist Pepe Raventós through his personal project: the Can Sumoi winery, focused on terroir and environmental care.                  This organic Spanish rosé wine is made from vineyards near the magnificent Can Sumoi estate, surrounded by Mediterranean woodland, at an altitude of 650 metres, in the highest area of D.O. Penedès.                  All agricultural and winemaking processes, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, are carried out according to organic and biodynamic practices with minimal intervention techniques.                  This natural wine is made from a genuinely original blend of Xarel·lo, Sumoll and Parellada grapes. The harvest took place during August and September, the grapes were hand-picked and then fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Can Sumoi La Rosa 2020 then completed a spontaneous malolactic fermentation.                                    The wine has citrus, predominantly grapefruit notes. Very light and fresh, ideal for hot summer evenings.                                    We recommend serving at a temperature of 8 °C.                  The wine will excellently complement pasta, soft cheeses, salads or risotto.
