This delicious red wine comes from the Baigorri winery in the Rioja Alavesa region and is made from the Garnacha variety, which gives it an intense aroma of flowers and red fruit. It is grown using a combination of traditional and modern methods that are gentle on nature. The grapes come from very old, low-yield vineyards. The grapes are hand-sorted, destemmed and macerated whole at a controlled temperature. The Baigorri wine then ages for 14 months in new French oak barrels and subsequently in the bottle. It is a bold, elegant and full-bodied wine with a long finish and a lasting mineral flavour on the palate. AWARDS: 2012 vintage - Silver "Concours Mondial".
