Granja Remelluri, Gran Reserva, D.O. Rioja, red wine, 0.75l

Granja Remelluri Gran Reserva red wine, from the Rioja region, is made from a unique combination of the red and white varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano. The wine has a dark cherry colour of medium intensity with a purplish rim. In the bottle you can smell aromas reminiscent of pungent spice (pepper, clove, cedar, wood-derived notes). In the glass, the aroma of wood and fruit becomes more balanced, with dark tones (blackberries and ripe plums) and a hint of orange peel. It is a wine with balanced acidity, a full body and a spicy flavour. This wine is produced only in the very best vintages, by selecting grapes from the best vineyard sites. Selecting grapes from sites with different specific microclimates creates a unique wine. The harvest is done by hand, the grapes are collected in 20 kg boxes and then immediately transported to the winery. It ages for 27 months in barrique barrels of varying age and toasting intensity. It pairs well with poultry, small game, roasts, beef and mature cheeses. We recommend serving at a temperature of 16°C.
