The wine won a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge 2023. Carmelo Rodero is one of the most prestigious wineries in Ribera del Duero. TSM stands for "Tres Soles y Medio", which translates as "Three and a Half Suns".
Grape variety: 75% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot
Ageing: 17 months in French oak
Taste and aroma: Its intense, deep garnet-red colour hints at its character. The aroma is intense and complex with notes of dark fruit, vanilla and cedar wood. The flavour is full and rich with notes of cherry, tobacco and chocolate. The wine has a velvety structure and a long, elegant finish.
Food pairing: Excellent with meaty fish, grilled meat, tapas made from longer-matured cheeses such as Manchego añejo or Pata de Mulo. We recommend decanting before serving. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
