This exquisite red wine from the Rolland Galarreta winery comes from the La Rioja region in northern Spain. This region is renowned for producing high-quality wines that rank among the best-rated wines in the world. The wine is made from the typical grape variety of the region - Tempranillo. The vines grow on vineyards at an altitude of between 450 and 750 metres above sea level. After a traditional long maceration and pressing, the wine ferments in oak barrels, where it also ages for 10 months. A further four months of ageing directly in the bottle helps refine the flavour. This cherry-coloured wine has aromas of liquorice, fresh fruit and spice. It offers a full, juicy and elegant flavour.
