This delicious red wine is made from a single variety, Tempranillo, typical of the La Rioja region. The grapes come from vineyards 45 years old, spread across a triangle between the areas of Villabuena, Samaniego and Ábalos. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, and great attention is paid to their safe transport to the cellars. The grapes are then very gently destemmed and crushed. Double fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, from where the wine moves to barrels, where it ages for 16 months.
This creates an aromatic wine in which red fruit and hints of liquorice and spice can be tasted, together with notes of cedar wood and smoke.
Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo
We recommend serving it at 16 °C, with pulses, stuffed aubergine, cow's milk cheeses, charcuterie or grilled lamb and beef.
