This delicious red wine is made from the single Tempranillo variety, which is typical of the La Rioja region. The grapes come from 45-year-old vineyards arranged in a triangle between the areas of Villabuena, Samaniego and Ábalos. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, and great care is taken over safe transport to the cellars. The grapes are then very gently destemmed and crushed. Double fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine moves to barrique barrels, where it ages for 16 months.
This creates an aromatic wine in which you can detect red fruit and hints of liquorice and spice, together with notes of cedar wood and smoke.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 16°C, pairing with pulses, stuffed aubergine, cow's milk cheeses, charcuterie or grilled lamb and beef.
