This brilliant red wine comes from the Ribera del Duero winemaking region. The Villacreces cellars were founded in 1980 and produce wines in small bottle quantities in order to achieve their highest quality. The harvest takes place by hand in the second and third weeks of October, and the grapes undergo a double selection. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and then ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months.
This is a cherry-coloured wine, very smooth and rich on the palate. You will taste ripe berries, caramel and roasted coffee. A wine with potential until 2020.
Grape variety: Tinto fino (Tempranillo) 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Serve at a temperature of 17 °C. Suitable with grilled red meats, roasts and braised meat.
