Aromatic white wine Gorka Izagirre is made from two autochthonous Basque varieties - Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Zerratia - and will satisfy every enthusiast. It is a very fresh, light wine with a fruity flavour, built on an apple base with hints of fern, white flowers and citrus coming through. Excellent with fish and seafood.

Gorka Izagirre is an exceptional white wine of straw colour with green tinges. It is very tasty and well-balanced, with an aroma of fresh apples and an intense scent of fern. The wine is made from two Basque varieties - Hondarrabi Zerratia and Hondarrabi Zuri. The grapes are picked by hand and then destemmed. After cryomaceration they are gently pressed with a pneumatic press and then fermented for 16 days at a low temperature of around 14°C. The Hondarrabi Zerratia wine then ages briefly (for 2.5 months), which gives it a full and long-lasting flavour. It is then blended with the second variety and bottled.
Grape variety: 50% Hondarrabi Zerratia and 50% Hondarrabi Zuri
Serve at a temperature between 8-10°C. We recommend pairing with fish, seafood, vegetables and cheeses.
