Enjoy a noble and elegant wine with a lively acidity and a lingering finish of red fruit and coffee. An intense aroma of red fruit and aromatic scrubland plants such as laurel and thyme.
A very elegant wine aged for 8 months "sur lie" with "bâtonnage" (occasional stirring of the lees back into the wine) in Slovenian oak barrels. The ageing method in the presence of the lees brings out the individual aromas and gives the wine a richer flavour. It is also more stable, more complex and reaches a lower sulphur content. The length of ageing is left to the winemaker's judgement.
April and May had mild temperatures with occasional rain. Growth was not as explosive as in other years, and a very strong leaf mass developed with good development of the flowers, fruit and bunches.

Food pairing: A perfect accompaniment to simple tapas such as jamón Ibérico, Spanish charcuterie or sheep's cheeses aged around 6 months. We recommend serving at a temperature of around 15°C.
