An excellent white wine from the Pla de Bages region, made from grapes of the almost-forgotten Malvasia Manresana variety. The grapes come from organically certified vineyards - no chemical agents are used, only organic fertilisers.
After hand-picking, the grapes are macerated at a low temperature and then pressed, undergoing spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is neither filtered nor fined.
The Oller del Mas winery is set on the site of a restored medieval castle from the 10th century. It has 600 hectares of land at its disposal, 60 hectares of which are organic vineyards where no chemicals are used, only organic fertilisers.
