Gramona, La Cuvee, D.O.Penedés, Cava, white sparkling wine, 0.75l

Gramona La Cuvee is made from three varieties, Xarel.lo, Macabeo and Parellada. The cava is moderately intense with elegant floral tones wrapped in stone fruit - peach, apricot. Golden apple and lemon peel are also present, rounded off with a pleasant note of almond. Round on the palate, very refreshing, with a long finish. The grapes are hand-picked and the wine ages more than 30 months in bottles with a cork closure.  Pairing The cava will be a perfect accompaniment to starters, and can be extended to the rest of the menu as well. We recommend serving it chilled at a temperature of 8-10°C. The Gramona winery is a very old family business, whose Cava is highly regarded by experts and recognised in Spain as the Rolls Royce among Cavas. It also takes the environment into consideration, and the Cava can therefore be classed among organic and biodynamic wines.
