Grape variety: This wine is composed mainly of Garnacha, complemented by smaller proportions of Tempranillo and Garnacha Blanca. This blend of varieties gives the wine a rich fruity depth and elegant structure with the character of the original vineyards.
Ageing: The wine aged 11 months in 500-litre French oak barrels, where fermentation took place with natural yeasts and partial destemming of the grapes. This method of ageing and handling gives the cuvée finesse and complexity without overpowering the purity of the fruity aromas.
Vineyard: The grapes for Camino de Ribas come from selected older vineyards in the La Cóncova area near San Vicente de la Sonsierra, where the vineyards reach an altitude of 610 m and grow on limestone soils. Manual and sustainable vineyard care guarantees a strong expression of terroir in the resulting wine.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby colour with bright highlights. Pronounced aromas of red and dark fruit complemented by delicate floral and mineral nuances. Very harmonious, fresh with an elegant structure of taste with balanced tannins and a lingering finish that emphasises the origin and terroir of the cuvée.
Food pairing: Thanks to its complex profile and delicate structure, this wine pairs excellently with dishes of grilled red meat, roast lamb, aromatic stews or strongly flavoured cheeses.
