The wine is characterised by an intense aroma of red fruit with a touch of balsamic and spicy notes and a subtle chocolate trace. On the palate there is a rich taste with firm tannins and a long, harmonious finish that highlights the elegance and power of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, without losing its delicacy and freshness.

Enate Cabernet Cabernet is an intense and complex red wine from D.O. Somontano. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, where the continental climate with low humidity allows the vines to reach high quality and full aromatic potential.
Label: The label of Enate Cabernet‑Cabernet is not merely a decorative element. It is an original artwork created for the Enate winery by the painter Erwin Bechtold, carrying a cultural and visual value beyond an ordinary label. From the outset, the Enate winery has linked wine production with visual art, which has become part of its identity: since 1992 they have collected works by Spanish and international artists, and each of their wines carries a label with an original painting created specifically for that bottle. The wine is understood as an aesthetic and cultural experience, not just a drink, and the label thus works as a visual invitation to tasting and to interpreting the character of the wine.
Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives the wine a pronounced structure, complexity and ageing potential.
Production and ageing: After a three-week fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is transferred to new French oak barrels, where it ages for 18 months, gaining depth, rich aroma and a harmonious integration of tannins. The wine undergoes minimal filtration, which may cause the presence of tartrate crystals, a natural phenomenon that does not affect the taste and guarantees the naturalness and authenticity of the product.
Tasting notes: The colour is intense ruby, the aroma offers red fruit complemented by balsamic and spicy notes with a subtle hint of chocolate. On the palate the wine is full, rich in flavour, with firm tannins and a long, harmonious finish that highlights the elegance of the Cabernet Sauvignon.
Food pairing: The wine is recommended to be served at 16–18 °C. It pairs excellently with smoked, braised and grilled red meat, as well as dishes with rich sauces. Thanks to its rich fruity profile and structured tannins, it also suits delicate cheeses and dark chocolate.
