Grape variety:
Macabeo (Viura) – the base, providing freshness and fruitiness
Xarel·lo – structure, acidity, light minerality
Parellada – finesse, aromatics, lightness

Vineyard:
The grapes come from vineyards in the Catalunya region, where the Celler Bellaserra winery works with the local terroir and traditional varieties. The vineyards lie in a Mediterranean climate with warm days and cooler nights, which helps preserve the aromatics and freshness of the grapes. The soils are mainly clay-limestone and stony, giving the wine structure and a mineral touch. Thanks to the combination of climate and soil, the wine keeps a balance between ripeness and freshness.

Production and ageing:
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, often at night or in the early morning, to preserve as much of their aromatics as possible. This is followed by gentle pressing and fermentation at a controlled low temperature in stainless steel tanks, which helps preserve purity and fruit expression. The wine is not aged in oak barrels, so that its fresh, direct character can shine, and it is briefly stabilised before bottling.

Aroma and taste:
On the nose there are notes of white fruit, such as pears and apples, complemented by citrus nuances and delicate floral notes. On the palate the wine is light, fresh and harmonious, with pleasant acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

Food pairing:
Thanks to its lightness and freshness it goes wonderfully with fish, seafood, salads, light pasta or Mediterranean cuisine. It is also excellent as an aperitif or with simple summer dishes.
The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 °C, which brings out its fresh, aromatic character.
