Turrón de Jijona is an iconic Spanish speciality with a soft, chewy consistency and a rich flavour of roasted almonds and honey.
It comes from the town of Jijona, where it is made according to a traditional recipe. Its base is almonds (often the Marcona variety), blossom honey and sugar, carefully processed into a smooth mass that literally melts on the tongue.
