Real/Mejillones - Mussels in Escabeche 5/7 115g

Real Conservera mussels come from the mouth of the Arousa river, which is why they have their characteristic orange colour, brought out by the famous escabeche sauce. The mussels are very carefully selected and cleaned by hand, then briefly fried in olive oil and covered in the escabeche marinade, based on olive oil, wine vinegar, paprika, black pepper, cloves and bay leaf. These tinned mussels are only made during their season, so that only the best specimens reach your table.

These marinated mussels are best enjoyed cold, so we recommend placing the tin on crushed ice or in the freezer for 5-10 minutes before opening. They are excellent on their own as a starter or as part of tapas, but we also recommend trying them as a filling for tacos with guacamole.
