Los Peperetes/Sardines in escabeche, 120g

Discover the authentic flavour of northern Spain in the form of delicate sardinillas in traditional escabeche sauce from Los Peperetes. These small sardines come from the cold waters of the Atlantic off the coast of Galicia, where, thanks to ideal natural conditions, they acquire their typically full, slightly sweet and distinctly marine flavour.

After careful hand-cleaning, the sardines are lightly fried in olive oil, giving them the ideal texture, and are then marinated in a classic escabeche marinade. It is made from a combination of quality olive oil, wine vinegar, paprika and salt, which gives the little fish their characteristic, slightly tangy and mildly spiced flavour.

Once the tin is opened, you'll find whole, juicy sardines immersed in a golden marinade that brings out their natural flavour and adds a pleasant freshness. The flesh is soft, tender and beautifully soaked in the sauce.

Thanks to traditional production and a simple composition without unnecessary additives, the product retains its high quality and authentic character. It works wonderfully as tapas, a light starter or a quick gourmet treat. Ideally with fresh bread or as part of Mediterranean cuisine.
