An exceptional wine from the La Rioja region, a unique treasure. It is a wine for laying down, with a huge potential of up to 20 years. Elegance is the most fitting word to describe this fantastic wine. It has an intense dark red colour with violet hues. It is very dense, fruity and creamy with a very complex aroma of forest fruit, balsamic notes and spice against a backdrop of flowers in bloom and minerals. On the palate it is elegant, delicate, full of unique expressiveness with huge fruit potential and tannin well integrated into the structure of the wine. In the finish, which is long and very pleasant, you can detect notes of vanilla. Robert Parker awarded it 94 points. It comes from a small, 40-year-old vineyard called La Nieta. The first fermentation takes place in small wooden barrels, and malolactic fermentation and ageing then take place over 18 months in new French oak barrels.  Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo Serve at a temperature of 17-18 °C. We recommend decanting 1 hour before drinking. Suitable for red meat, game and roasts. Alcohol content: 14 % Volume: Bottles of 0.75 l packed in pairs in an elegant box or individually without a box.
