A brilliant wine of dark brown to black colour with a very dense consistency. Hand-picked Pedro Ximénez grapes are pressed using a hydraulic press, and the sweet must obtained is partially fermented. A top-quality wine distillate, which has previously rested in stainless steel tanks for at least one year, is then added. This wine is very dense, with aromas of camphor, liquorice, chocolate, nutmeg and spice, pastry, hazelnut cream and tobacco. On the palate it is broad, sweet and velvety; one can taste red fruits, nuts and roasted almonds, with a woody base. An incredible spectrum of rich, sweet, balanced and delicate flavour will engage your senses, and after a while you will also recognise a hint of black olive aroma, which gives this wine its unique taste.
