Teso La Monja, Victorino, D.O. Toro, red wine, 0.75l

The red wine Victorino comes from the Spanish Toro wine region and the Teso La Monja winery. The vineyards are over 40 years old, and the harvest is done manually, as is the subsequent selection of grapes. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 28 °C for 8 days, ageing takes place in French oak barrels for 18 months. Victorino wine has a deep red colour and a wonderful aroma of red fruit with spicy notes. The American wine expert Robert Parker awarded it 98 points. At the Teso la Monja winery, they pride themselves on the careful selection of old, low-yielding vines. The renowned oenologist Marcus Eguren, named Winemaker of the Year 2012 by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast magazine, produces unique wines here with remarkable elegance, which maintain their high standard and the complexity characteristic of the region.  Grape variety: 100% Tinta de Toro We recommend serving at a temperature of between 16-18 °C.
