The red wine Amancio comes from the traditional Sierra Cantabria winery, which has been producing the finest wines for five generations. Amancio is made from Tempranillo grapes grown on vineyards aged 20 to 35 years. The hand selection of grapes is very strict - only 8% of the harvested grapes are used for production, which guarantees high quality. After initial maceration, subsequent fermentation and a further 21-day secondary maceration, the wine ages for 24 months in barrique barrels. It then matures in the bottle for a further 4 months. The result is a unique wine with a complex aroma of ripe red fruit with mineral notes, and a very pronounced taste rich in tannins.
Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo
We recommend serving at a temperature of 18 °C and pairing with roast meat, beef and game. We recommend decanting before consumption.
